Our Services
-
Communication Support
Sending letters and digital communication tools like JPay are expensive, creating barriers for consistent parent-child contact. 3B provides funding for JPay credits, postage for physical letters, and personalized letter-writing support for children. We also host workshops to help youth express their emotions in safe and constructive ways.
-
Visitation Support
Many families cannot afford the travel, paperwork, or legal coordination required to visit incarcerated parents. 3B offers logistical coordination, financial support, and virtual visitation setups. We will ensure children can see and engage with their parents when safe and developmentally appropriate.
-
Emotional Wellness
Children of incarcerated parents often experience anxiety, grief, depression, and shame, but lack access to therapy. 3B offers resources for optional family therapy sessions, group life coaching compacted with with art, storytelling, and mindfulness lessons, Caregiver coaching and emotional support circles and Emergency/crisis referrals to partner organizations
-
Educational Empowerment
Children affected by incarceration often face educational disruption, stigma, and a lack of academic support or college access. Our education program combines tutoring, mentoring, and college readiness to foster academic achievement and long-term success.
-
Experiential Learning
Children of incarcerated parents are often excluded from extracurricular opportunities that foster joy, creativity, and growth. 3B offers monthly enrichment activities to help youth build relationships, explore interests, and experience childhood joys.
-
Advocacy & Reform
Systems often fail to recognize the needs of children with incarcerated parents, leading to long-term disenfranchisement. We use stories, data, and coalitions to advocate for child-centered policies and equitable reforms at the local and state level.
